Almgasthaus Glocknerblick
Our alpine guesthouse is located at 2050 meters above sea level, amidst the Carinthian mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Relaxation and adventure come together here thanks to the tranquil setting, untouched nature, unique panoramic views, numerous hiking and mountaineering opportunities, and, of course, the in-house culinary delights.
Position
The unique location offers stunning views of the Schober Group mountain range with its 56 3,000-meter peaks, the Italian and East Tyrolean Dolomites, and the Großglockner at its most beautiful. The Glocknerblick is an ideal starting point for mountaineering tours as well as leisurely family-friendly hikes. Cable cars, waterfalls, animal parks, circular trails, (guided) hiking tours, and the Großglockner High Alpine Road are all within easy reach.
Facilities and catering
Our guest rooms include double and multi-bed rooms with wonderful views, and a sun terrace with an adjoining children's playground provides a pleasant ambiance. Our traditional Carinthian cuisine features homemade farm produce such as Carinthian cheese dumplings, cold cuts, roast venison, and Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes).
